Hardwood floors that have been coated with a heavy-duty protective finish (which protects against premature fading and degradation from the sun's ultraviolet rays) are very difficult, if not impossible, to sand. Engineered or floating floors often have a wood layer that is too thin to sand.
Thanks to the ECO-BUFF Floor Refresher System, it is possible to rejuvenate your hardwood, engineered, floating or brushed effect floors to bring them back to their original shine quickly and efficiently, without having to sand the entire floor or thin it out. In fact, this system is 100% dust and sand-free.
Before refinishing, our teams use a powerful degreasing cleaner (MAINTENANCE SURFACES CANADA's cleaner) to remove the residues present on the floor surface. This cleaner is safe for humans and animals. Then, a machine with a brush (auto scrubber) allows us to clean the encrusted dirt. Finally, our team applies a product to the entire surface of the floor that will allow the new coat of varnish to adhere properly.
To refresh residential, commercial and industrial hardwood or engineered floors, we use a commercial-grade two-component ecological varnish (available in matte, satin or semi-gloss finish).
The whole process is done in one day and costs 50% less than having a full sanding done. The varnish dries in 24 hours and you can then walk on the floor. After 7 days,the varnish reaches its maximum hardness. The ECO-BUFF floor refreshing system is 100% dust-free, ecological and does not require sanding.
